The sandbox key needs no account, reads the same real corpus, and is never billed. It is rate limited to 20 requests per minute.

Questions
- What does the free tier actually do?
- Five cited lookups a day, with the full plan-by-plan breakdown and the CMS citation. It is the complete answer for a question you ask occasionally — it is just capped.
- Does this cover medical prior authorization?
- No. Benefily covers Medicare Part D drug benefits only. Medical and procedure authorization (CPT-coded imaging, surgery, infusions) is published separately by each payer and is not in this corpus. We would rather say so than let you assume otherwise.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, from the billing page. Cancelling stops the renewal and you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for — we do not cut access off the moment you cancel.
